Live theatre meets AI in a fast, interactive experience where the audience helps shape the story in real time.

AI Wrote This Play returns with a new twist, using Anthropic’s Claude to generate a short play live before it is brought to life on stage by local actors. Between performances, a panel of artists and arts workers will unpack how generative AI is reshaping creativity, from accessibility in writing to the bigger question of whether this technology is inevitable.

Expect an engaging and thought-provoking hour of theatre and conversation. Can AI write a play? And, if it can, should it?

No experience needed, just curiosity.
