Dubbo Women’s Business Network (DWBN) is a locally founded, women-led business network supporting women in business across Dubbo and the wider Western Plains region.
Co-founded by local business women Melissa Woodward and Kate Astill, DWBN exists to create meaningful connection, practical education and genuine support for women at every stage of business. Our focus is on collaboration over competition, raw conversations, and sharing knowledge that helps women build sustainable businesses with confidence.
DWBN hosts regular in-person networking events featuring local speakers, business education, and facilitated networking in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Events are open to both members and non-members. Casual tickets can be purchased for individual events, while membership offers better value for those who attend regularly.
DWBN membership is priced lower than purchasing casual tickets across the year and includes entry to the monthly networking event, with no additional ticket purchase required. Members also receive opportunities to present or collaborate and visibility through DWBN’s social media platforms.
DWBN also facilitates an active Facebook community that is open to all women in business, providing an additional space for connection, conversation and local business support.
Whether attending as a casual guest or joining as a member, DWBN offers a supportive, down-to-earth space where women in business can connect, learn and grow together.
