Holi, also referred to as the Festival of Colours, is celebrated across the length and breadth of the Indian subcontinent. The festival is also a very significant event in the life of the people of subcontinent heritage residing in various parts of the world. Holi is celebrated to signify the new start in life by ridding oneself of past errors by forgiving and starting fresh in life like the spring season!
Holi brings together individuals from various backgrounds to rejoice in unity, love, and happiness! Our Holi festivities are designed to encourage cultural diversity and cultivate community cohesion.
We would like to extend an invitation to everyone in the Dubbo Region to partake in the Holi Festival of Colours celebrations on Saturday 8 March 2025. The event will feature free entertaining activities for children, a live DJ, and colour powders available through gold coin donations. Food stalls will also be set up for your convenience.
