About this event

In 2025, NAIDOC will celebrate its 50th year and our local NAIDOC committee is planning a number of events to help our community to celebrate.

A community day will be held on Monday 7 July starting with a march along Macquarie and Talbragar Streets and into Darling Street for the flag raising ceremony.

Following the flag raising ceremony, there will be live entertainment, children's activities and stall holders in Victoria Park.

On Friday 11 July, the NAIDOC Ball will be held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre & Convention Centre. Tickets will be on sale soon.

This year's theme is 'The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy'. This theme acknowledges the achievements of the past while looking forward to the bright future shaped by young leaders, strong communities, and the legacy of ancestral knowledge.
