About this event

Free screenings of mental health documentary The Promise.

After its success in 2024, with an AACTA Award nomination and screenings at Parliament House and Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, RAMHP are hosting 3 mental health awareness nights by bringing this impactful documentary to Western NSW.

In "The Promise" we shine a compassionate light on the lives of suicide survivors and families who have suffered the profound loss of loved ones. Their stories, brave and heartrending, remind us of the strength that emerges from the darkest of moments and the resilience of the human spirit.

At the heart of this captivating film lies Craig's own story, a testament of hope that has the power to inspire and uplift. As we follow his extraordinary journey, we come to understand that hope can be a lifeline, a guiding light even in the most trying times.

Be part of this unique cinematic experience, where we forge a community of support and empathy. Together, we'll transcend the boundaries of silence, rewriting the narrative surrounding mental health and suicide prevention

The Promise screenings will be followed by a Q&A session with Craig Hamilton -Best-selling Author, Keynote Speaker & Sports Broadcaster, and Jye Currie - Internationally Acclaimed Film Director & CEO Green Frog Productions.

- No registration required.

Catering will be provided after the screenings with the opportunity to meet Craig Hamilton, Jye Currie as well as your local RAMHP Coordinator who can provide mental health information and support options.
